Milwood Auto Wash is a living piece of history, built in 1966

it was originally Greg’s Car Wash. Later it was sold and became Sam’s Car Wash during the 1970’s. And for a short time in the 1980’s it was Top Hat Auto Wash. One of the current owners worked here as a teenager in 1984-1985

In 1987 The Ferrell family bought it and renamed it Milwood Auto Wash. It was ran as a full service car wash. Meaning you could get your car washed and get your interior Vacuumed, windows cleaned & your dash and doors cleaned. While you waited.

In 2016-2017 this model of car wash service was abandoned here at Milwood Auto Wash.

In 2020 the I-94 Portage / Kilgore construction began. But stalled quickly during covid. This caused the the Ferrell family sell it to another couple in 2023 because customer traffic was down and it was time for retirement.

The new owners struggled through the rest of 2023 and the first 8 months of 2024 using the competitor model of an express wash.

As the new owners of MILWOOD AUTO WASH, we intend to exceed the local competition standards, by applying the personal hands on “old School wash “ style to our customers vehicles.

Here at Milwood auto wash, the customer receives the very best wash, any wash besides a Basic Wash (express wash) will be hand washed prior to entering the wash tunnel and hand dried at the end of the line before exiting.

You can add a full service interior cleaning where you can wait in our lobby while we clean your cars interior for a small additional fee!
